Do you want to lead and develop as a Technical Project Manager / Senior Technical Project Manager within Remote and Autonomous (R&A) in Kongsberg Maritime?
An exciting opportunity waits you as Technical Project Manager / Senior Technical Project Manager leading Remote and Autonomous (R&A) projects at Kongsberg Maritime. In this role, you will be part of the Remote and Autonomous team working with customers to manage and implement capabilities for autonomous and remotely operated vessels. You will be leading the R&A part of a complex and integrated project and your responsibilities will include the whole project life-cycle from project initiation to hand-over to support while integrating cutting-edge technology from across the Kongsberg organisation.
We are seeking for two experienced project managers who thrive in delivering projects with a high degree of complexity. You will bring with you a positive technology and product-oriented mindset with a solid project management background. You enjoy solving challenges that pioneering in a growing technology and business area presents. Key accountabilities
- Lead delivery projects in the R&A project portfolio
- Ensure planning, execution, and completion of large-scale integrated projects, ensuring quality, on-time delivery and customer satisfaction
- Lead a matrixed project team and foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the project
- Cultivate strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, customers, and cross-functional teams to ensure clear communication and seamless project execution
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions
Qualifications and experience
- Project management competence and experience, preferably in the maritime industry
- Technical understanding and experience about (maritime) automation and control systems. Knowledge about remotely operated and/or autonomous systems is a plus
- Master / Bachelor of Science or other relevant fields
- Fluent communication skills in English and Norwegian/Swedish, Finnish is a plus
