System & Process Analyst

Kongsberg Maritime is growing, and we are looking for a System & Process Analyst to strengthen our System & Process Department within Global Customer Support (GCS).
In this role, you will support the business on its journey of digitalization, innovation, and operational excellence, working within the Finance & Business Support business unit and supporting our colleagues in GCS. You will contribute to harmonized processes, efficient systems, and improved ways of working across a global organization.
1 About the role
You will be part of a dedicated team specializing in process and system improvements across core enterprise platforms and business support systems, including Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement.
You will support internal customers in Global Customer Support — ranging from Aftermarket Sales and Field Service Engineers to Warranty teams — and work cross-functionally in an international, multi-site environment.
Our ambition is to create business value through process excellence, combining digitalization and innovation to secure continuous improvement in close collaboration with the business.
2 Key responsibilities
You will:
- Work closely with business areas in GCS to gain a deep understanding of operations, processes, and systems
- Map and analyze current and future (as-is / to-be) business processes, identifying improvement opportunities and needs for harmonization
- Facilitate workshops to understand business needs, gather requirements, and translate them into user stories and functional specifications
- Act as a functional expert for systems, tools, and processes
- Collaborate closely with IT, vendors, and developers, representing the needs of GCS users
- Support solution testing, go-live activities, and global rollouts
- Develop and maintain documentation, including centralized training material, process documentation.
- Support and drive continuous improvement initiatives
3 Qualifications & experience
We believe you bring:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, business, or a related field (relevant experience may compensate)
- 2–5 years of experience in system, process, or business analysis roles.
- Experience working with enterprise systems, preferably:
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations / AX2012
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement
- Knowledge of Lean, Agile, and continuous improvement principles.
- Familiarity with tools like 5 Whys, process mapping, value stream mapping, and DMAIC.
- A good business understanding and interest in how systems enable efficient operations
- Maritime industry knowledge and experience are a benefit
