LignoTech Florida – a joint venture between Borregaard and Rayonier Advanced Materials, is looking for a Supply Chain Specialist to manage the performance of outside warehousing, transportation rate negotiations, transportation service performance, and the creation/maintenance of transportation rate databases.

 Some of the key activities of this position:

• Monitor and recommend continuous improvements around distribution costs and opportunities for cost improvements within customer limitations
• Manage warehouse contracts to keep up to date documents on SharePoint and filed
• Support sales objectives of customer commitments while providing logistical solutions for storage, transloading, warehousing, cross-docking, or other methods to reduce total delivered costs
• Analyze logistical costs relating to all transportation, warehousing, and loading to recommend solutions for reducing total cost to serve
• Collaborate with the customer service/logistics coordinators to organize, manage, and recommend solutions of transportation service providers that meet customer requirements with transparent costs.
• Manage transportation service provider performance.
• Maintain SAP shipping condition codes with up to date costing maintained quarterly.

Minimum Educational Qualifications required by the position:

Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Production/Operations Management, or related field preferred.

Minimum Experience required for the position:

• 5+ years related work experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management or related experience.
