We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Project Manager to join our Uncrewed Platforms Operations division in Horten.

Your role will be to lead projects developing, building, upgrading, and delivering advanced Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV) and Uncrewed Surface Vehicle (USV) systems. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, ensuring successful execution while balancing customer requirements, technical challenges, commercial objectives, and schedule commitments.

As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards while serving as a key interface between customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.

 

What you will be doing

• Manage projects, coordinating activities across design, engineering, production, procurement, and quality teams.
• Ensure successful project delivery by meeting contractual commitments, customer expectations, and business objectives related to scope, schedule, cost, and quality.
• Plan, track, and deliver project milestones while managing schedules, resources, and dependencies.  
• Identify, assess, and manage project risks and opportunities, implementing mitigation plans and driving timely resolution of critical issues.
• Manage project financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, variations, and monthly financial reporting.
• Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders, communicating, influencing, and negotiating effectively at all levels.
  
  

We think you should have

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience managing large and complex projects, preferably within the marine, defense, or high-technology sectors
• Experience delivering customer projects with responsibility for scope, schedule, cost, quality, and stakeholder management.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills, with the ability to motivate and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in Norwegian and English
• Experience with project management tools, ERP systems, and quality systems such as ISO or AQAP is an advantage.
