Sales Managers - Marine Transportation - Electrical, Energy and Integration

We are currently seeking two individuals with a strong technical understanding of energy systems in the maritime industry. These individuals will have the motivation and capability to convince stakeholders about the optimal path forward in marine operations. Sales manager for merchant business will focus on hybrid systems, integration of energy efficient fuels and energy optimization within Kongsberg product portfolio. Sales manager in passenger business have will have the same responsibilities, -but also be able to combine different propulsion system towards optimum electrical solution.

Key accountabilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies and plans for specific regions and customers
- Establish and maintain customer relationships
- Prepare, present, and promote tailored solutions to shipowners, yards & designers
- Manage the technical scope, cost estimation, risk assessment, and preparation of quotations
- Lead contract negotiations
- Coordinate activities with KONGSBERG’s sales resources to align customer interactions
- Provide technical and strategic support to other sales managers
- Represent the company at industry conferences and exhibitions
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical systems or equivalent industry experience
- Knowledge of electrical and energy solutions in the maritime industry
- Previous sales experience in the maritime industry or with related products and solutions is preferred
- Having experience with system delivery, commissioning and start-up at shipyards is beneficial
- Having additional experience in the Maritime sectors is beneficial
- Fluent in English and Norwegian, verbally and in writing
This employment may require security clearance by the Norwegian National Security Authority, clearance through Civil Aviation Authority or a background check.
