We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Research Coordinator for the ENACT-65 project at the European Palliative Care Research Centre (PRC), the Norwegian Cancer Society’s Centre for Patient-Centred Care.
ENACT-65 is an EU Cancer Mission project aiming to integrate nutrition and exercise into routine oncology care to improve survival and quality of life in older adults with cancer. The consortium brings together leading European research institutions within nutrition, exercise, oncology, and supportive care.
In this role, you will play a central role in consortium coordination, technical and administrative project management, monitoring of project progress, and reporting activities across international partner institutions.    

The PRC is based within the Department of Oncology at Oslo University Hospital and the Institute of Clinical Medicine at the University of Oslo. The centre has extensive collaboration networks across Europe, Canada, and Australia. Together, we work to ensure that patients and their families receive the best possible evidence-based care locally, nationally, and internationally.
PRC conducts interdisciplinary research within prioritised areas including nutrition and cachexia, pain, quality of life, health services research, and end-of-life care. The centre currently leads and contributes to several large international initiatives and EU-funded projects.

The position are temporary engagement.

Kvalifikasjoner:

  • A doctoral degree or a master’s degree in a relevant scientific, health or life sciences discipline.
  • Experience with project coordination and relevant project management tools, including timelines, spreadsheets, planning tools, and shared work platforms (e.g., Teams/SharePoint).
  • Experience with clinical research and/or clinical trials.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
  • Strong writing and synthesis skills for project reports, management documents, and deliverables.
  • Experience in EU-funded research projects.
  • Experience with Horizon Europe and EU Cancer Mission-funded projects.
  • Competence in administrative management of European or international projects.
  • Experience with innovation and industry collaboration.
  • Fluency in Norwegian.
  • Experience with REK applications and/or broader clinical research ethics and governance processes.
