Kongsberg Aviation Maintenance Services (KAMS) is a leading player in military aviation, dedicated to delivering high-quality maintenance services for a range of aircraft. KAMS' engine depot for the maintenance and upgrade of F135 engines for the F-35 has been operational in Rygge since 2020. Now, Kongsberg Gruppen is expanding and investing in a national airframe depot for F-35 fighter jets at Rygge. This facility is set to be completed in the second half of 2025 and will contribute to strengthening national competence and increasing the operational availability of the Norwegian F-35 fleet.

About the Role
As Manager Planning, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating production and progress schedules for NAVD F-35 depot work and O+-level F-35 maintenance. You will report status to the Base Maintenance Manager F-35 NAVD and ensure that work orders and packages are executed according to plans and delivery deadlines. Your role includes close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to address production-related challenges and ensure compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS).

Execution and Reporting:

• Perform tasks as required by the Base Maintenance Manager F-35 NAVD and report status upon request.
• Conduct detailed preparation of maintenance and support equipment, work orders, or work packages, including analyzing special jobs for the F-35 and managing related tasks.
• Perform final review and completion of work orders.

Procurement and Analysis:

• Review, analyze, and process purchase orders or work packages.
• Prepare quotations according to customer purchase orders.

Quality and Compliance:

• Stay updated on current QMS procedures and ensure they are followed.
• Perform initiator/optional screening point functions for action requests and follow up with relevant internal and external stakeholders to address issues appropriately.

 
Communication and Support:

• Maintain effective communication with team members and stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and timely completion of tasks.

Who are you?
To qualify for this role, you must:

• Have relevant education at the college/university level. Relevant experience can compensate for the lack of formal education.
• Have relevant work experience. Experience in a similar role within the aviation industry is an advantage.
• Aspire to develop as a leader. Previous leadership experience is a plus.
• Be able to obtain security clearance up to Norwegian Secret/NATO Secret (see NSM).
• Have good Norwegian and English skills, both oral and written.

It is not a requirement, but if you have experience and knowledge of the F-35 program, it will be an advantage.
