In this role, you will be part of the Remote and Autonomous team working with internal and external stakeholders in managing and implement capabilities for autonomous and remotely operated vessels and the remote operating centre. You will be leading complex and integrated projects and your responsibilities will include the whole project life-cycle from project initiation to hand-over to support while integrating cutting-edge technology from across Kongsberg and 3rd parties.

Key accountabilities 

• Lead development projects in the R&A project portfolio 
• Ensure planning, execution, and completion of large-scale integrated projects, ensuring quality, on-time delivery and customer satisfaction 
• Lead a matrixed project team and foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the project 
• Lead Product Increment (PI) planning together with our program management (preparation of priorities and objectives; outcomes documentation, resourcing and timeline needs) 
• PI execution coordination (scheduling sessions, requesting input, collecting data, following up) 
• Preparation and implementation of annual PI calendar based on product and feature roadmaps 
• Cultivate strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, customers, and cross-functional teams to ensure clear communication and seamless project execution 
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions 

Qualifications and experience 

• Project management competence and experience, preferably in the maritime industry 
• Technical understanding and experience about (maritime) automation and control systems. Knowledge about remotely operated and/or autonomous systems is a plus 
• Master / Bachelor of Science or other relevant fields 
• Fluent communication skills in English and Norwegian/Swedish, Finnish is a plus
