Aftermarket Sales Engineer

As our Aftermarket Sales Engineer you will be playing a central and significant role in performing activities supporting the sales team in generating sales revenues and increase customer relationship. You will support the sales team with preparing commercial proposals for enhanced/performance upgrades, new functionality, modifications, and retrofit/refit/conversion solutions in accordance with KM product lifecycle philosophy primary for CAT-1 & CAT-2 with focus on the offshore segment and following products: DP, KChief700 and Navigation.

Responsibilities:

  • Support After Market Sales Managers – assist with quotations, customer interventions and campaign integration.
  • Build and maintain relationship with the customer and understand customer requirements.
  • Respond to customers on planned maintenance activities and dockings and coordinate these activities internally.        
  • Use of appropriate systems and tools to assist in managing local business in accordance with the sales process         
  • Manage customer data.  

Requirements: 

  • Technical Education, relevant experience can compensate for formal degree.
  • Experience in sales support and customer facing activities       
  • Preferably several years of experience in maritime or related industries          
  • Fluent in English
