An exciting opportunity has arisen to lead the M&A team in KDA as Vice President Mergers and Acquisitions. This function will be working closely with KONGSBERG Corporate Development, which has the overall responsibility for coordination of M&A activities across the Group.

In this role you will have direct impact on the strategic direction of one of Norway's leading technology companies. You will be responsible for the M&A strategy, identifying a target list of opportunities, develop the relevant roadmap, execution of transactions and support the integration and synergy captures. You will also be engaged in other strategic initiatives together with senior management in KONGSBERG.

To succeed in this role, it is imperative that you have a strong financial and business acumen. As a person, you are analytical, structured and able to manage combined teams effectively.

You will report to the EVP Business Development & Strategy and be part of KDA Business Development & Strategy Department. This is a hybrid role that requires regular, on-site work in Kongsberg. However, you will have the opportunity to work from your home office or one of our other offices in Norway.
The role involves domestic and international business travels.

Qualifications and experience

  • Master's degree in finance or industrial economics with strong academic results
  • At least 5 years' relevant working experience within M&A
  • Significant experience in leading M&A transactions
  • Excellent numerical and logical reasoning skills
  • Excellent leadership and management skills
