Vessel Manager

As one of our trusted Vessel Managers has decided to retire in 2020, we are looking for a Responsible and Friendly replacement to maintain the strength of our good team.

Duties and responsibilities
  • Technical- and financial management of vessels.
  • Follow-up of maintenance plans and budgets, including planning of yard stay and docking.
  • Follow-up class- and flag state requirements.
  • Coordinating the daily operation between the vessels, management and client.
     

Qualifications
  • Higher education within marine technology/ engineering, MSc./BSc., and relevant experience in management of vessels. 
  • Or, higher maritime education and experience as engineer or navigational officer or similar position as Vessel Manager/Superintendent.
  • Shuttle tanker management knowledge is preferred
  • Good English skills,  written and oral
  • Good computer skills and knowledge in maintenance systems.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with cultural awareness. 
  • Proactive with a strong personal drive. 
  • Good analytical skills/assessment ability.
  • Leadership skills.
  • Have a holistic perspective, without losing attention to details.
