Your mission

As a developer in DNB Corporate Banking you will work in teams of 8 to 12 people. You will be a part of a fixed team responsible for specific digital channels (web, mobile). Your work will relate to maintaining existing solutions, but more important: you will play an important role in building world class user experiences in our new digital channels for corporate users. You will be able to work with different technologies and to build complex IT applications that are used on a daily basis by DNB’s 200.000 corporate customers.

Your experience and knowledge

One of your future developer colleagues has made a list of things you should know to make the onboarding to DNB as easy as possible. We would love if you are in possession of the following five skills: 1) detail oriented, 2) experimental (to always find the best available solution), 3) great will to learn, 4) proactive and 5) collaborative mindset.

We would be very excited if you have knowledge of accessibility (ARIA and WCAG), UX and interaction design.

A minimum technical requirement is experience from coding HTML, JavaScript and CSS. It is a big advantage if you can add React-experience on top of this, and even better if you’re used to working with REST APIs.

We think that you have completed relevant higher education, but we also acknowledge that relevant experience may make up for this.

Who are you?

We want you to be a dedicated developer, who really cares about doing a great job. But almost equally important is your ability to be a good team player. You don’t have to be extrovert and super social all the time, but we do expect you to collaborate with your team members and take part in our technical discussions. You must be patient (yes, DNB is a huge organization, and some things takes a bit more time than our developers like…). At the same time the workload is high, and we always have a loaded backlog. Priority is an important skill and being able to focus on what you or the team have decided is important.
