The 3D team in Kongsberg Digital is looking for talented software developers to work with real-time 3D visualization, using technologies like C++, C#, Direct3D, OpenGL, WebGL and Vulkan. The team currently consists of 12 software developers, and we are growing. Kongsberg Digital is part of the KONGSBERG group, one of Norway’s largest software companies, and we are located in Asker.

The 3D team serves as a competence center for industrial real-time 3D visualization. We maintain a custom rendering engine, as a vertical technology stack that runs on multiple platforms, including desktop, web and VR. Our technology is used in KONGSBERG products within the maritime and energy industries.

We have a strong focus on software architecture, modern graphics pipeline utilization, domain-specific APIs and maintaining a high-quality codebase.

We are looking for you with:

- Preferably master’s degree in computer science, possibly a B.Sc. combined with experience and/or strong talent

- Experience with C++ or C#

- Experience with 3D graphics programming, with technologies like Direct3D, OpenGL, WebGL, Vulkan, Metal, GLSL, HLSL, CUDA, OpenCL, GPGPU, Unity, Unreal Engine, VR or AR
