The position is in a team of highly skilled senior Lead IT Engineers in charge of global architecture, design and implementation of end user computing and both private and public cloud. Your role:

The position as Lead IT Engineer for the End User Computing area gives great influence on the future development of the solutions used globally by the Statkraft users. The position provides possibility to largely influence on how End User Computing develops in the coming years. The area spans from PCs with Windows through video conferencing to mobile device management. It is a good opportunity to work with vendors, testing new solutions and equipment and make recommendations.Responsibilities will be roadmaps, architecture, design and implementation. The position covers following areas:

• Microsoft Windows 10 lifecycle.
• Microsoft Office 365 applications.
• Mobile device management solutions such as AirWatch and Microsoft Intune.
• Workstation hardware lifecycle, desktops, laptops, 2+1 devices and iPads
• Deployment solutions for OS and client applications.
• Follow up the quality of services delivered by sourcing partner.
• Introduction of new tools and features and see to that they are used accordingly.
• Participation in development projects and digitalization initiatives.

 

Your profile:

We are seeking a senior profile with extensive experience from upgrade, design and implementation of End User Client solutions especially Windows 10 and Office 365 products, in global organizations. You thrive when working with modern technologies and constantly seek new ways of utilizing new technologies. A university degree and at least 5-10 years of experience within the following areas is required.

• Deep knowledge of the Microsoft Windows client platform, especially Windows 10.
• Deep knowledge on securing workstations and devices.
• Deep knowledge of supporting infrastructure like AD, GPOs, SCCM, DCs, OpenDNS and such.
• Hand on experience from implementations of Microsoft Windows 10 and Office 365 products.
• Experienced from lifecycle management of client applications.
• Experienced from HW selection and certification.
• Good knowledge with Mobile Device Management solutions.
• Very good design and documentation skills.
• Good communication skills in Norwegian and English
