An opportunity awaits you as a Senior Frontend Software Engineer at Kongsberg Maritime. You will find your permanent role within our growing inhouse software development team developing modern systems for Remote & Autonomous operation’s within Kongsberg Maritime, Remote Operation Solutions team.

We are looking for an experienced Frontend Software Engineer with a genuine passion for software craftmanship.

Responsibilities

You will participate in work related to development of systems related to the R&A context.

Tasks that this role focuses on is

• Develop and maintain core modules related to the Remote Operation Center
• Design, implement and test solutions in an agile manner
• Participate in technical work in system to system maritime integrations
• Enhance the software development process and practices together with the team

Your qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or in a similar field or equivalent technical capability based on practical knowledge and experience
• Demonstrated experience in similar work role
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Proven knowledge of Typescript
• Experience in React or Svelte development and software engineering
• Knowledge of modern web application technologies
• Understanding of modern software development environment
• Appreciation of well tested software
• Good understanding of Docker
• Good written and spoken communication skills
