Our Passenger Organization is now looking for a Sales Manager to join our Global Sales & Customer Care team to strengthen the market in Sweden further.

About the role

As Sales Manager you will be the customer’s point of contact and have full ownership of the commercial relationship for our portfolio of Swedish B2B customers across multiple segments, such as Leisure, Corporate and Meetings.  You will sell our entire Passenger network to those clients, managing accounts as well as proactively exploring new leads and business opportunities.  The majority of your work will directly benefit our routes between Sweden and the Baltics, as well as our Oslo-Frederikshavn-Copenhagen service. In this role you will work in close collaboration with colleagues within the Field Sales team and Global Sales and other stakeholders throughout DFDS.

Some of your key responsibilities would be:

• Client analysis, negotiation and implementation of agreements, year-round monitoring of performance, input and feedback to strategy
• Travel and representation of DFDS at customer meetings and relevant trade or network events, always making sure to represent DFDS and our brand
• Build excellent relationships with key customers, business partners such as relevant tourist and promotion boards
• Deliver on agreed targets and KPI’s

Your location in Sweden is flexible but you will be expected to without difficulties travel around the country with particular focus in the south and the Stockholm area, where our routes are based. You will report to Head of Field Sales, located in Copenhagen.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who thrives when it comes to sales and creating excellent customer relations. To excel you need to be a true team player with excellent interpersonal skills.

You have a commercial attitude and entrepreneurial and agile mindset. At the same time you have a structured way of working, excellent planning skills and are highly self-motivated.

You ideally have quality, relevant experience from a similar role, and it is an advantage if you have experience from working within the travel industry. To be able to fulfill the role you need to be fluent in Swedish and English and have a valid driver license.
