A position as an Research assistant with master for 4 months is vacant. The Research assistant will work on preclinical mice models for tumor development and influenza. The project will be led by PhD and group leader Ranveig Braathen at the Department of Immunology and Transfusion Medicine, Oslo University Hospital. The successful candidate will work in a 10-member research team. The research group is part of a stimulating and international research environment of about 100 scientists working on various aspects of immunology.

Kvalifikasjoner:

We seek a highly motivated person with a master or equivalent in immunology, molecular biology or related fields. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Prior experience within immunology or infectious diseases or cancer immunology research.  
  • Prior experience with techniques such as ELISA, flow cytometry, cell culture, molecular biology techniques, PCR, protein purification, adoptive cell transfer (ACT) in mice, in vivo monitoring of tumor cells by IVIS spectrum, influenza challenge in mice.
  • Experience in handling mice (FELASA C approval).
