kta naval systems is a joint venture company owned by Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace, thyssenkrupp Marine Systems and ATLAS ELEKTRONIK. kta naval systems is the exclusive supplier and Design Authority for the complete Combat Systems to thyssenkrupp Marine Systems submarines, the market leader for conventional submarines in NATO and with partner navies.
kta naval systems has its headquarters in Kongsberg, Norway and a branch office in Bremen, Germany.

We are now recruiting Quality Manager to shape the future of submarines with its product family of Combat Systems ORCCA.

TYPICAL TASKS:

  • Develop and improve the Quality System in connection with government, customer and internal requirements.
  • Be a company resource related to process improvement
  • Plan and perform / lead internal and external quality revisions / audits
  • Plan and perform internal process training
  • Project planning for quality topics
  • Support the projects with quality topics
  • Follow up suppliers from a quality point of view
  • Perform root cause analysis


YOU BRING:

  • A degree in a technical discipline is a bonus
  • Able to see the big picture both in a project view and a company view
  • Interest, knowledge or experience in Quality Management
  • Enjoy to work with improvements and processes
  • Knowledge about quality tools, processes and quality standards
  • Knowledge or experience about root cause analysis
  • Fluent English both written and spoken and good co-operation and communication skills
  • A self-driven, analytical, pro-active and positive mindset, which enjoys challenges
