About: Norsk Ortopedisk Fottøy AS (NOF) is a reputable family-owned company with over 30 years of experience in orthopedic footwear. As a leader in the industry, NOF specializes in custom-made orthopedic shoes and other orthopedic aids, including bespoke shoes, insoles, and orthoses. The company is headquartered in Fredrikstad and has additional offices and travel locations across Norway, including Oslo, Lillestrøm, Sandvika, Stavanger, Førde, and Halden. NOF partners closely with one of the country’s largest suppliers of orthopedic aids.

Other Responsibilities:

• Conducting diagnosis and clinical assessments.
• Processing applications for specialized equipment for clients, which are submitted to the Norwegian government’ welfare services.
• Offering guidance on the use of orthopedic aids.
• Measuring, fitting, and producing custom-made shoes.
• Repairing and adjusting orthopedic aids.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Desired Qualifications:

• Licensed Prosthetist and Orthotist or trainee/apprentice.
• Knowledge of custom-made shoes or a strong willingness to learn.
• Proficiency in Norwegian/Nordic languages.
• Class B driver's license preferred.
• Quality-conscious with a strong sense of responsibility for this important work.
