OceanSMART Customer Service Specialist

OceanSMART is seeking an experienced customer support specialist with bulk shipping background to join our dynamic team. OceanSMART´s SaaS provides our customers with the tools and visibility to manage their vessels, cargoes and maritime assets, with total transparency to the hidden cost, inefficiency and waste. You will join the team as the primary support contact during EMEA business hours. You will provide insight and guidance on the use of our solutions through: 

  • Direct engagement with the customer via Telephone, Email and Chat Support
  • Sharing of development insight for our Knowledgebase and Product Walkthroughs

This role can be based in London, England or Stavanger, Norway.  

 

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Associate degree or equivalent education and experience
  • Minimum of 3 years in a customer support environment 
  • Experience working in or supporting the bulk shipping industry, such as vetting, scheduling, chartering or operations. 

 

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • The position has no supervisory responsibilities

 

Reporting Relationships:

This position will report to the Maritme Customer Support Manager
