OceanSMART is seeking skilled Maritime, Software and data science professionals to join our dynamic team.  As Product Data & Insight Manager you will be an integral part of the Product team. Your primary role will be to ensure all OceanSMART services have the validated data and insight sources they require to operate and deliver the strategy. 

 

As a member of the Product Management Team you will participate in the development of the roadmap, leading the specification of data requirements and the subsequent sourcing of the same. The role has an active external aspect leading and managing the relationships with data vendors and partners, to ensure the continued enhancement and relevance of the OceanSMART product suite.  

 

Functions:

• Specification and identification of insight value
• Identification, sourcing, investigation and maintenence of Master data
• Manage data suppliers and partners

 

Data Management Experience: 

• Experience as a Data Analytics product manager
• Experience of Martime and Cargo Logistics supply chain
• Experience with data collection and maintenance processes

Qualifications:

Required:

• Bachelor´s degree or equivalent education and experience
• 5 years leading Data Analytics product management
• 5 years experience with data sourcing
• 5 years experience working with a service provider delivering to the Bulk Logistics industry

 

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• The position has no supervisory responsibilities

 

Reporting Relationships:

This position will report to the Director Maritime Digital Products, Sales & Marketing
