We are looking for a talented Finance Controller to join our headquarter in Nordhavn, Copenhagen. In the beginning of 2022, we will move to a new modern location just next to the Oslo-Frederikshavn-Copenhagen route, incl. fitness facilities, Café area etc.

The team is responsible for the DFDS Group’s external financial reporting and has a central role as sparring partner for the Group CFO, Divisions, investor relations and local management responsible for the subsidiaries’ financial reporting. Main responsibilities

You will be part of a team, preparing monthly and quarterly controlling, consolidation, and reporting under IFRS. Upholding of Group Accounting Polices, SOP’s, including new accounting standards which will also be part of your tasks. You will contribute to the preparation of consolidated IFRS reporting to the Stock Exchange, including the full annual report, and supporting presentation for management.

 

The team also takes part in developing and improving our global financial reporting system, SAP BPC, and optimizing our reporting processes. On-site financial controlling visits and reporting of findings will also be a part of the job. Furthermore, you will participate in testing our new ERP and consolidation systems.

 

Preferred candidate profile
We imagine that you have experience in the financial controlling and accounting field, able to see the big picture but in general have the ability and interest to zoom in on and work with the important details. You can expect some business travel – estimated 5-10 days per year.

• You have a master’s degree in accounting
• 2-4 years of relevant, professionally associated experience
• Preferably sharp analytic skills
• Experience with SAP BPC, OneStream, or other consolidation systems
• Preferably good Excel skills
• English fluency
• Experience from IFRS
