In this role as a Embedded SW Developer you will be working in the Energy Storage department and be a part of the development team. You will be working on development of embedded control code for our BMS.In addition to this you will also be supporting the work on related software tools, model based design verifications tools and assisting in testing and qualifying all of this. You will work closely with our hardware designers and system solution team to create optimized BMS products for the marine industry.

 As a member of the Energy Storage team you will be in the core of the energy conversion technology enabling the ongoing green shift in the maritime industry.

Responsibilities

• Development of BMS for energy storage solutions
• SW testing and verification of BMS
• Support service, commissioning, and aftermarket on application software
• Participate in factory acceptance tests where new applications are used
• Develop and maintain standard documentation for energy storage

 

Qualifications and experience

• Have a higher education in a relevant field. Relevant experience may compensate for a formal degree
• Programming in C/C++/Qt
• Real-time and embedded control systems development
• Graphical user interface application development
• Experience with Energy Storage and BMS development, preferably within marine systems is an advantage
• Fluent written and verbal communication skills in Norwegian and English
• Knowledge of relevant industry standard, classification rules and flag states is an advantage

This employment may require security clearance by the Norwegian National Security Authority, clearance through Civil Aviation Authority or a background check.
