Aftermarket Sales Manager - Digital Solutions

Our Global Customer Support division is responsible for all Kongsberg Maritimes services and support in the aftermarket. Our more than 2000 employees are present in 35 different countries around the world. During the operational lifetime of more than 30.000 installations, we ensure cost-efficient delivery of services, upgrades, and spare parts in order to secure availability and predictability to our customers.

Due to increased focus on the continued digital transformation within the maritime industry, Aftermarket Sales is looking for an Aftermarket Sales Manager to join the team. In this role, you will promote and sell our digital solutions within the commercial maritime market. Working closely with the aftermarket sales team, you'll be essential in maintaining and cultivating customer relationships while actively pursuing sales opportunities.

Key accountabilities

  • Sales of digital solutions in the commercial maritime market in close collaboration with aftermarket sales team
  • Maintain and develop customer relations to digital solutions in Kongsberg Maritime.
  • Preparation of quotations and discuss digital solutions with customers.
  • Develop sales and customer strategies for our products and solutions.
  • Follow up customers closely.
  • Be digital responsible in the aftermarket sales team.
  • Work closely with regional sales representatives in the local Kongsberg Maritime offices.
  • Travel will be required.

Qualifications and experience

  • University or technical college degree within Engineering, Business, IT – relevant experience may compensate for formal education.
  • Good knowledge and experience with Kongsberg Maritime core control systems.
  • 3 – 5 years’ experience in the Maritime or Oil & Gas industries is an advantage.
  • Proactive and commercially driven team player.
  • Good communication skills in English and Norwegian, both written and verbal.
